Caillin was awarded the Emeritus Professor Joan Cole Award for the most outstanding physiotherapy student when he graduated from Curtin University in 2015. Since then he has worked exclusively in private practice. He has a special interest in injuries related to endurance sports, tendinopathies, exploring non-operative options for a range of conditions and utilising strength and conditioning principles in treatment.
Outside of work hours you will find Caillin running around with a whistle in his hand as a field umpire for the West Australian Football League, enjoying all things football, listening to music, spending time at the beach and the playing the way too infrequent round of golf. He is also a keen triathlete and have completed several Ironman 70.3 races, highlighted by a 2nd place finish in his age group in 2017. He hopes one day hope to step up to the Ironman distance.
